			<description>Define a ♣ b = a^2 – b.

What is the value of (2(4 ♣ 13)) ♣ (3(3 ♣ 5))?

ANSWER (DO NOT CLICK UNTIL YOU HAVE FINISHED THE PROBLEM AND POSTED ANSWER):

Spoiler:Following order of operations, we will solve the inner-most parenthesis first.

(4 ♣ 13) = 42 – 13

              = 16 – 13

              = 3

(3 ♣ 5) = 32 – 5

= 9 – 5

= 4

23 ♣ 34 = 8 ♣ 81

            = 82 – 81

            = 64 – 81

            = –17
