A Good Way to Find Practice Problems

Post  Ben R on Tue Oct 07, 2008 5:31 am

To find good problems to post here, go to:

The Math Counts Website

Go to problem of the week, and then archived problems. There, they have tons of problems dating back to 2000. Choose a year, choose a week (each with their own theme) and click problems. Choose one you like, copy it, go back to the sidebar, and click solutions, and copy the answer. On the posting page, put the solution in a spoiler box (covered in a thread on the Misc. forum.) Then all you have to do is wait for people to answer! You can start a trivia challenge, tally up who gets the most right, or come up with other fun ideas. You can always make up your own problems, also.

Have fun!
