What does locking a forum do and why would it be done?

If things go out of hand, one could lock a forum, therefore allowing only admins access.

Right now, I've only needed to lock one forum because of lack of moderators. The more moderators I have, the more easier it is to run a competition.

Remember to post math relevant topics and you may be assigned as a moderator for good citizenship. This is decided by the voting system. Smile
