Week 2 Problem C
According to internet officials, all three-letter dot-coms were registered. (Note: Just because it's registered doesn't guarantee that it has a live site.) How many three-letter dot-coms are there?

Re: Week 2 Problem C
To Steve: 36^3 is 46656. But in this problem, they are not asking for letter number combinations where there would be indeed 36 choices for each of the threes slots, and 46656 combinations. Rather, the problems asking for letter combinations where there are only 26 choices (derived from only 26 letters) of each of the three slots. The way you would have approached the problem is flawless though, and in that I commend you with this smilie:

- Spoiler:
- 26 choices for each of three letter adresses. 26*26*26=26^3= 17576.
